This exclusive, private villa is ideally situated in a quiet countryside location, and yet it is less than a mile from the pretty, southern Algarve village of Carvoeiro. Located at the end of a small lane, just a hundred metres or so from a quiet back road, the villa has views over rolling countryside towards the Monchique hills. Vivenda Summertime is a beautifully appointed villa with a walled garden of mature palms, tropical plants and native trees. The secluded position offers privacy and tranquillity, and promises a truly relaxed environment for large families and intimate groups of friends.

The villa is available on an exclusive basis to families and groups of friends who are looking the privacy afforded by renting a large comfortable villa and all the facilities on offer.

All bed linen and towels are provided for clients, with the exception of pool/beach towels. A maid service is provided three times a week, and clean linen once per week. A cordon bleu trained chef is available on request to prepare and serve lunch or dinner at the villa.


Dedicated club players or absolute beginners will love the private tennis court, which lies just behind the pool terrace. With your own court right there on your doorstep, you don’t have the hassle and cost of booking courts, getting in the car and then finding that maybe it’s just too hot to play! Yes we’ve done that more than once.


As most golfers know well, the Algarve region is a golfers paradise, and there are eight or nine courses within fifteen minutes drive of the villa. These include Pinta, Gramacho, Penina, Palmares, Salgados, and Vale de Milho. The nearest golf course is less than five minutes by car, and the huge selection of courses around Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura are only half an hour away.

  Carvoeiro village, and the sea, are just a fifteen minute walk away, or a few minutes by car. The village with its pretty beach has a wide choice of restaurants, bars and shops. Within ten minutes drive of the village many more beaches can be found, ranging from small quite coves to long, wide beaches, which even during July and August do not get particularly crowded. Close to Carvoeiro there are many small villages, with some really excellent restaurants to choose from.
  
  For younger family members there are several water parks and a marine zoo within a twenty minutes drive, while for those wishing to explore the Algarve, an hour’s drive can take you to the West coast and Cap St. Vincent, the mountains at Monchique and Foia, and the historic towns of Lagos, Silves and Tavira.
  
  The Algarve boasts at least three hundred days sunshine per year, and during the months of June through to late September there are on average just two to three days rain per month. While the temperature in July and August can regularly reach the low thirties, there is often a sea breeze and low humidity which helps to keep things comfortable. Temperatures in general are around ten degrees C warmer than the UK.
  
  For the 2004 season, we have invested in a number of new mountain bikes (teenager/adult size), which will be available to rent for a small fee. We also plan to offer guided biking trips for those with a little more energy.
